We stayed at a property managed by Anchor Downs from December 27/24 to January 3/25 with a large family group. We were very pleased with the rental in every respect. It was clean, VERY well equipped and perfect for our family. We had 3 concerns during our stay which were addressed very promptly and resolved perfectly. We would not hesitate to recommend them.

Booked with Anchor Down and then had two flights cancelled due to two hurricanes! Anchor down were superb in altering arrangements despite what must have been a very busy time for them with properties damaged by the hurricanes. We had two breakdowns with machines in the property and these were dealt with promptly. The property was spotlessly clean and best equipped that we stayed in. This should be the benchmark for letting agents.

Rented Villas By The Sea 4. Was cute little 1 bedroom a block from the ocean. Close to many restaurants & shops. Looked just like the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

Anchor Down is managing a rental property of mine in Lakewood Ranch, FL. I worked primarily with Ben during the initial phases of getting setup with Anchor Down, photo shoot, listing, viewings, and securing a tenant. Ben managed to lock down a tenant within one week of listing, which exceeded my expectations! Ben was thorough and very professional throughout the entire process. Loved this property! This was my first experience renting a home so I was a bit apprehensive about whether this was the right choice for my family of 10 who were gathering for my dad’s funeral. This turned out to be perfect! There was plenty of room for those of us staying at the house & for other family members & friends who came to visit during the day. The house was clean & stocked as advertised. It was updated with a very open floor plan. We enjoyed lounging by the pool & playing pool, ping pong & cards in the game area. The master bathroom was very large with an amazing en-suite. Being able to utilize the garage for parking & storage was so helpful (the garage was off limits for many of the houses researched). This home wasn’t on the beach but a short 10 minute drive allowed us to take our daily morning walks. The management team was exceptional! The questions I had before & during our stay were answered quickly & in a friendly manner. Extra towels, etc., that we needed were delivered quickly. The reservation/check in/check out processes were easy, which a newbie like me really appreciated! There are a couple items that need to be addressed, most of which have already been brought to the management team’s attention. In addition, pots & pans are badly scratched & need replacing. A more complete pots & pans set would be great for large groups like ours who want to cook at home so we can spend more time together. The bar chairs at the island are a bit wobbly & weren’t too comfortable. These few items shouldn’t deter you from renting this home. You’ll be glad you did!

Great beach house and the rental company was very helpful with all issues .

We loved Cortez Cabana! It is beautiful and well-equipped with everything you need. We didn't want to leave, and if the home had been available, we would have extended our stay. Anchor Down was very quick to respond to any questions we had. My only suggestion when renting is to bring bug spray for the no-see-um bugs. They love some people and don't bother others. My husband's legs looked like he had chicken pox, my son had a few bites, and nine of us had no bites at all. The pool guy suggested we go to Ace Hardware and get spray for them, which worked well. We will definitely be using Anchor down again and can hopefully stay in Cortez cabana again in the near future
